Instagram is testing a new way to follow the timeline of the Explore tab of the social network, betting on touches on the sides of the photo. The method was found by a user and is almost the same as the one used to pass the stories when they are all played in series and without pause.
The Explore part is in the search icon and is presented as a series of photos and videos of content that Instagram believes are of interest to the user, from accounts that the user does not follow. The display of content is similar to what the social network timeline already does, with vertical scrolling of all images.
Instagram is making a major change to how you see posts in your feed… Goodbye scrolling!

Instagram is testing a new way to interact with this area, switching from scrolling to screen taps in an almost identical way to what happens with stories. The novelty was found by a Twitter user, where Instagram itself says that it is only necessary to “touch the posts, in the same way as you touch to change the stories”.
The social network, which belongs to Facebook , confirmed to the American press that it is testing the new feature with some selected users, but also said that there are still no plans to release the tool for everyone.
